Musk has escalated his war of words with Disney's Iger, saying in messages on X that Iger "thinks it's cool to advertise next to child exploitation material" and calling for the CEO's firing.

Elon Musk escalated his war of words with Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger this week, saying in messages on X that Iger “thinks it’s cool to advertise next to child exploitation material” and calling for the CEO to be fired. 

The post on the former Twitter website appeared to criticize Disney for advertising on social-media platforms owned by Meta Platforms. 

Musk was responding to another post linking to a news article about a lawsuit filed by the state of New Mexico this week against Meta and its CEO alleging they allowed Facebook and Instagram to become “a marketplace for predators in search of children upon whom to prey.”
