The apocalypse, apparently, is just around the corner. A CNN headline, and many others, screamed this week: “ ‘The climate time-bomb is ticking’: The world is running out of time to avoid catastrophe, new UN report warns.”
For my money, the climate can wait. What about the ticking bombs that may be sending the United States toward financial catastrophe?
